Taverna Brillo is a restaurant in Stockholm with a focus on food, drinks, art, music, and vibrancy. Our menu is inspired by all the countries and cities around the Mediterranean, from Tel Aviv and Beirut to Rome, Barcelona, and Santorini. Come here for a delicious lunch, an unforgettable dinner, or a lively night out.
Everything under the same roof
At Brillo, we believe that great food is created with love for ingredients and pride in craftsmanship. We prepare all our food from scratch and often use ingredients we've grown or caught ourselves. This makes our cooking more sustainable while creating a taste experience beyond the ordinary. At the entrance, you'll be greeted by a variety of ingredients, both in the Salumeria and in our display coolers where you'll find fish and meat that we use in our cooking.
We partially catch the fish from our own fishing boat, SM4 Tarona, and clean it in our fish processing area on the lower floor. This reduces the distance from sea to table and creates a fresher taste experience that is also better for the environment. A large portion of our vegetables comes directly from our own gardens at Ulriksdals värdshus - just 15 minutes from Stureplan. This means we can adapt our ingredients according to the season and create sustainable food that also tastes better.

Eating at Taverna Brillo is an experience bigger than just the food. Just as we take pride in our cooking, we also ensure that you always receive the best service and a personal welcome. At Brillo, we like to consider ourselves a family and include our guests in that description. Call it a second home, we do!
The dining hall
The first thing you notice as you walk through the corridor toward our dining room is the buzz from the kitchen right next door. In the heart of Taverna Brillo, you'll find the dining room, the very hub of the restaurant where you can gather with friends for a dining experience like no other. The interior is designed by Jonas Bohlin, and like all his works, it features well-thought-out details. Watch as the food is prepared in the kitchen nearby while receiving an introduction to the world of wine from our sommelier at the dining room bar, and admire the art around the room. Everyone from groups of friends, regulars of five days, and newcomers - all have a natural place in the Brillo family.
Salumeria
If you look to the right when you enter, Salumeria is the first thing you'll see. Traditionally, a Salumeria is a deli that often focuses on high-quality charcuterie and other delicacies. Our Salumeria is the most obvious place to enjoy good drinks and charcuterie in Stockholm! Here, we take you on a journey through Southern Europe where carefully selected charcuterie and wines come together. This is the perfect destination for a spontaneous after-work gathering or to enjoy some small bites before your dinner with us.
Bar Brillo
To the left of the entrance, past the wood-fired oven, you'll find Bar Brillo. A lively place with knowledgeable bartenders, creative cocktails, and carefully selected music. Start the evening with a glass of wine or meet up after dinner as the tempo increases into the early hours and the bar fills with new acquaintances. The drink list suits most tastes but is always ready to surprise you. Our own DJs often provide the music, setting the tone for the atmosphere several nights a week.
Wood-fired oven
To the left when you enter, you'll find a small dining area that is right next to our open kitchen. Here, you sit at high tables and get a glimpse of the wood-fired oven, where we prepare everything from seafood and fish to gratins, snails, and many other delicious dishes.
The Kitchen Table
Down the stairs, next to our beautiful wine cellar, you'll find an exclusive part of the restaurant that we call The Kitchen Table. Here, we can serve a private party of up to 12 people with a seasonal menu specially selected and composed by our chefs. Contact us to book The Kitchen Table.
